This morning I planned to watch <Chappie> in IMAX 2D at TGV 1 Utama. When I reached TGV 1 Utama, I bought the movie ticket before I take my breakfast. Around 11:00 a.m., I entered the cinema hall after I bought the popcorn set to enjoy the movie.
Movie Review
<Chappie> is a movie which is talking about a robot who save mankind. The movie started with the city which have a lot of criminal (almost 300 criminals per day), Deon Wilson and Vincent Moose is the robot maker to fight with the criminal. Scout robot that created by Deon was successful till police force want to order 100 of it. This make Moose very angry because the robot that he create is useless. One day, a Scout robot (No. 22) is spoiled once fight with the gangster and it was rejected by Deon and said that it can't repair. At the time when he was successful create the code which can make the robot more emotional like human, he want to bring the rejected robot and test on it. Unfortunately, Deon was kidnapped by a group of gangster and they want the robot do thing for them. The robot are successful installed with the new code and it behave like the small baby. It's very cute. Yolandi (one of the gangster) named it as Chappie, as the robot agreed. In the climax of the movie, Chappie was "bullied" by Ninja and America and being taught to rob. And the time when Moose used the guardkey (which he get from Chappie's robot body during the time he kidnapped it) and shut down all the Scout robot, Deon brought it to his lab and make it alive again. And that time it get the helmet from the lab and make it as the machine which can transfer the conciousness from human body to the robot. After that, Deon found out Vincent is the one who turn all Scout robot offline and saw what Chappie did for Ninja and Yankie (Yolandi's friends). He got mad with it and he knew that Vincent will asked her supervisor, Michelle to approve him to launch Moose robot, and steal the weapon from the lab and met Ninja, Yolandi and Yankie. During the fight, Yankie was killed whereas Deon and Yolandi was get shot by Moose robot. Deon was still alive but unfortunately, Yolandi died on the spot. In the earlier Chappie plant a bomb on Moose robot and explode when it activated the bomb. Chappie hate the person who doing this and Deon knew who doing this. Both of them went to the lab and Chappie kill Vincent and scared every staff in the lab. Chappie implemented the system which can transfer the conciousness to the robot and both of them transfer to the new robot. Chappie was installed Yolandi's conciousness in a thumbdrive when he get the helmet from the lab and now transfer her into a new robot and the movie ended. As a conclusion, a baby will become clever if we taught them but they will become bad baby if we taught him in bad way.
